Did you know for example you could use:
- 1. Thyme the readily Available herb in your kitchen to help with Sore Throat?
- Just use or Boil 1 cup of water and add 1 Teaspoon of Thyme and let it steep for 10 minutes, sieve and gargle for a few minutes. Thyme has an Antiseptic effect.
- 2. Mixing 1 cup of Hot water with a Teaspoon of Salt let it sit for a few minutes and gonargle. It will have the same effect and it has been used by old folk for years to alleviate the Sore Throat, Tooth Ache, Stomach Pain sometimes because it’s believed to act like the Antibiotics.
- 3. Warm Water with Lemon Juice and Honey. I drink this regularly just to help with digestion but it comes in handy when you have a sore. Gargle or Seep the mixture a number of times during the day.
- 4. Rub Some Vicks Vaporub on the Throat and Chest helps with Congestion once the cold is onset. there is Vicks that is used too with a vaporizer and it works really well especially when used at bed time/sleeping.
- 5. Aromatherapy or Essential Oils work very well too to calm and relax your body and mind increasing your healing and overall well being. You can find the Essential Oils in different scents e.g Menthol, Eucalyptus, Lavender and many more. They are best used in a diffuser to fill the air in a room and this can be found in department stores like Target, Marshals, Amazon.com etc.
