This statement may extract alot of criticism from all who value the Name Brands and swear by them while those who don’t care one way or the other may support or agree with the sentiments of the writer.
I believe genuine Name Brands provide a Quality that others may not because they know that their name, services and reputation are on the line. I do stand with Brands that offer superior quality products and services since their workmanship is above the norm.
There is a saying that “You get what you pay for!” This saying has been proven time after time especially with Clothing, Shoes, kitchen gadgets, electronics and more. Have you ever bought a pair of jeans or pants and after 4 or 5 washes, you start seeing the material become lighter especially where there is more friction like between the thighs? Have you bought an electronic appliance that you thought was a deal due to its reduced price and after afew months it was useless?
Don’t get me wrong though, it is possible to find great products and services representing companies that are not considered brands because maybe the suppliers, manufacturers or resellers have not spent the money and time to make them name brands. It can be expensive plus time consuming to turn one’s company, product or service into a brand that people trust or can actually stand for or with. When buying an expensive item, make sure it is a brand you trust and add the Protection Plan if there is any being offered! I learned the hard way after big ticket items were destroyed during a move and I had not included the protection plan in the purchase!
So, the long and short of the answer for me is, I believe in reputable brands and will spend on things that at the end of the day will be beneficial for years to come so I do not have to worry about replacing the item over and over again hence saving me money, time and the frustration!
I believe in the Brand “Sweet Candyville Collections” (www.sweetcandyville.com) because it is a company with products I am proud to support and have been working on! I support some TV shows, Podcasts, YouTube Channels and people who represent their own brands because I trust they have put the money, effort, expertise and experience in what they attach their names to.
